Recycled Mint / AAAAA
These golf balls are like new in appearance and will feel and play as a new ball would. They may include tiny player marks, but no scuffs or blemishes. We like to call them “One Hit Wonder” golf balls as it was most likely lost after the first swing or two. They may contain corporate or team logos.

Refinished
NO ink marks. NO pen marks. NO team or corporate logos.
Our official pre-owned refinished golf balls are used golf balls that are reconditioned using a modern process in a factory that manufactures new golf balls. This process does not affect the playability of the golf ball, but brings their cosmetics and performance up to a level where they appear and behave comparable to new golf balls. Knetgolf only reconditions style specific golf balls, meaning only a used Titleist Pro V1x will be reconditioned into a mint refinished Titleist Pro V1x. In preparing for the reconditioning process, balls that are scuffed or have had their cover compromised are not reconditioned and are discarded. Only balls that are as close to perfect (if not perfect) in cover but are cosmetically challenged are refinished and sold. Knetgolf sells millions of these golf balls annually around the world. Did you know refinished golf balls have been formally accepted by the USGA. Rule 5-1/4 of the USGA rule book states that “it is permissible for such a ball to be used”. So there you have it, Refinished golf balls are permissible in tournament play!

Recycled Near Mint / AAAA
These golf balls all have some minor imperfection that keeps them from being Mint. There will be small player marks, minor scuffs, or slight blemishes. Most people would consider these balls Mint, but we are just too picky. These balls are similar to a new ball after being played for 3-4 holes. The shine and color of the balls may slightly vary, but the integrity of the flight characteristic is not compromised at all. They may contain corporate or team logos.

Recycled AAA
These are the same as a golf ball you have played with for a few holes. (They don't look new anymore, but you would keep teeing them up). These are balls that did not make it into our Grade A category. They will have player marks, scuffs, or blemishes, but nothing bad enough to affect the playability of the ball. They may contain corporate or team logos.

Recycled AA
These are great for hitting into the bushes, ponds etc...These balls have damage to the cover. They are great for practice when you want to hit and forget them. Most balls will have major scuffs, discoloration and/or club marks. Some may even have cuts. Our Grade AA balls are suitable for practice and or hitaways. You may find some you can use on the course. These balls are what many of us would use to play that very hard water hole, or to just smack around in the field. The quality will be poor and consist of cuts, major scuffs, heavy off-coloring, large ink marks, and generally represent balls you would not want to use in any type of competition. But for practicing, the price cannot be beat!
